The games of Greenlight as ever, are after your votes.

A new stormy queue of Greenlight games is coming in fast and hard and I’m here to see what is being offered that might interest the public. This post is for the games of February 19 to 21, 2016 and those games caught in my queue from before then.

As it goes with these posts a few things to say and rules to put down before I get to the games, so stick with me or just jump to the games. Since this list is created from what impresses me on Greenlight some games might not get mentioned despite looking good. I try my hardest to give every game a fair chance. Also Greenlight moves quickly and games come and go from the service, which will put this post out of date not terribly long after it has been published.

Rules:

  • Games must have – an English translation, and a trailer.
  • Games must look ready for Greenlight.
  • Reposted games to Greenlight that I’ve previously talked about will not be included.

Now we have the Games:

Title: Overload

Genre: Shooter

Art Style: 3D First Person World

Synopsis: A shooter from the makers of Descent, it gives you six degrees – up, down, forward, back, left, and right – to take the action. It will have a story, though the Greenlight page doesn’t talk about what it will be, though the game will keep it simple and true to the genre, find the reactor and destroy it. This game is crowd funding on Kickstarter.

Opinion: I’d probably find myself getting very dizzy as I moved about in this type of game.

Trailer:

Genre: Strategy, Simulation

Art Style: 2D Top Down World

Synopsis: You are a spaceship mechanic who must keep your ship running smoothly through safe times and when engaged in combat. You’re the only one down there so keep moving and fixing as quickly as you can.

Art Style: 2D Pixel Side Scroller

Synopsis: The Yakuza have taken over various cities doing as they please with no trouble from the police. A group of martial artists have decided enough is enough and set out to clean up the mess.

Title: Space Survival

Genre: Shooter, Arcade

Art Style: 2D Top Down World
