Rolling through a new Greenlight voting queue.

It’s Greenlight voting queue time for games posted from October 16 to 18, 2015. A few minor things to go through and I’ll get to the games.

This post is only meant to be a quick look through the games and not an in depth breakdown post. And too be honest it would be really hard to do such a post for some of the games that get posted. This list is also created entirely from my opinions, as such some games may not be included because they don’t impress me. I try not to let this happen.

Rules –

  • Games that have been reposted to Greenlight that I’ve previously talked about will not be included.
  • Games should look ready for Greenlight and should not look like a joke submission.
  • Games must have an English version.
  • Games must have a trailer.

Now what everyone is waiting for, the Games:

Title: Super Survival Remix 3

Genre: Arcade

Art Style: 2D Pixel Arcade

Synopsis: Mashing together several arcade games into one collective oddball game. This game will be free to play.

Opinion: Uh, I think I’m left more confused by the trailer than anything.

Trailer:

Title: InterSection

Genre: Puzzle, Platformer

Art Style: 2.5D Isometric World

Synopsis: You play as a character who is stuck between two intersecting worlds and trying to get through. The world you live on is dying, the one linked to it is new and green. Your job is to get the people from the dying one to the new one.

Opinion: I like the concept. Though it is a terribly hard game to describe its best to watch the trailer.

Trailer:

Title: Disputed Space

Genre: Shooter

Art Style: 3D Space World

Synopsis: This game is a space game where you engage in spaceship dog fights, taking them in whatever direction pleases you as a battle rages around you.

Opinion: It looks like it needs a bit more work, but is almost there.

Trailer:

(Greenlight Page)

Title: Stack Gun Heroes

Genre: Shooter

Art Style: 3D First Person World

Synopsis: This game allows you to modify your gun as you gain new parts by stacking the pieces on the old gun. You can go from a single shot weapons to a multiple explosive shot.

Opinion: It looks over the top, but also not the easiest to understand from the trailer.

Trailer:

(Greenlight Page)

Title: Bad End

Genre: Horror, Visual Novel

Art Style: 2D Hand Drawn

Synopsis: A choose your own adventure story where there are many bad endings. You play as Kyuuhei a man who doesn’t believe in rumors until one day his friend dies while playing a game. Now he plays the game to find out what’s going on, and if he gets the bad ending he’ll die as well.

Opinion: An interesting concept.

Trailer:

Title: Midngiht

Genre: Puzzle, Platformer

Art Style: 2D Screens

Synopsis: In this game you must get your bright box to the end platform. In order to move though you must use physics and figure out how to launch yourself across a stage while avoiding traps.

Opinion: It does seem like it might be better suited to mobile platform. That said, if it’s interesting and unique enough it should manage to get on Steam.

Trailer:

Title: U Mad Bro?

Genre: Platformer, Arcade

Art Style: 2D Pixel Side Scroller

Synopsis: Shortly after the dinosaurs left earth and before humans there was another creature called the Kiddis. They were doing well until the sky started raining fire and they have to start running for their lives.

Opinion: It looks like it has the potential to be a very hard game but also one that does a bit of trolling if you aren’t careful.

Trailer:

(Greenlight Page)

Title: Hatch and Slay

Genre: Arcade, Beat’em Up

Art Style: 2D Hand Drawn Screens

Synopsis: You are a freshly hatched lizard with humanoid like features. The game is simple, beat up all the creatures coming at you by beating them up or using your skills.

Trailer:

Title: CHKN

Genre: Simulation

Art Style: 3D World

Synopsis: If you’ve ever wanted to build and create your own animals this is potentially the game for you. Create animals from the real world or some bizarre thing.

Genre: Simulation

Art Style: 3D First Person World

Title: PlayFortress

Genre: Strategy, Simulation

Art Style: 3D World

Synopsis: You are placed in charge of building a castle and the surrounding defenses. You can build it however you please, but you have to manage the accounts and make sure the place is safe.

Opinion: It looks fun and as long as the content is their to keep you building and defending your castle, it should be good. My only slight issue is some of the town houses/buildings don’t look good.

Trailer:

(Greenlight Page)

Title: Greek God Simulator: The Odyssey

Genre: Puzzle, Strategy

Art Style: 2D Top Down

Art Style: 2D Arena

Synopsis: A multiplayer shooter in which the last creature standing wins. Blast your opponents while moving about the dangerous platforms to be the best of the match.

Title: Shattered

Genre: RPG

Art Style: 2D Pixel World
