Many shooters invade this queue of Greenlight games looking for votes.

Welcome to the sleepy voting Steam Greenlight queue and that’s only such because I’m in a sleepy mood. Of course before we can get to the games there are things to go over before we can get anywhere.

This list is for games posted between October 10 to 12, 2015. I recommend that people visit and look through the games posted on Greenlight because of two reasons. One, this list is only supposed to give you a quick idea of the games. Two, this list is made from my opinion and since we probably have different tastes its best to find out if I missed something you might like. Which brings me to another point, since this list is my opinion I may not include games that probably deserve some mention. I try not to let such things happen.

A few rules.

  • There must be a trailer.
  • Games reposted to Greenlight that I’ve previously talked about will not be included.
  • There should be an English translation.
  • Games should look ready for Greenlight and should not look like a joke submission.

And finally to the good stuff, Games:

Title: Bomberlands

Genre: Arcade, RPG

Art Style: 2.5D Top Down

Synopsis: An evil genuis has lost his minions in a destroyed underground base. It is up to you to befriend them and save them all the while bombing your way around.

Title: Super Destronaut

Genre: Shooter, Arcade

Opinion: It looks simple but fun.

Title: Shotgun Raiders

Genre: Shooter, Arcade, Platformer

Art Style: 2D Pixel Arena

Synopsis: A local multiplayer game for up to four players, there will be a lot of hoping around with limited gun angles to take out the other players.

Opinion: It has potential. I’d probably want things sped up a bit though because I feel it needs to be fast paced and all over the place.

Trailer:

(Greenlight Page)

Title: Goodnight Butcher

Genre: Horror, Arcade

Art Style: 2D Top Down Butcher shop

Synopsis: You are a butcher who works the night shift in a run down butcher shop. Your job is to prepare the meats for the morning crowds which would be easy if it weren’t for the apparitions that haunt the place.

Opinion: It seems interesting, not the biggest fan of the way the trailer went. The horror spooky vibe of fading in and out doesn’t work.

Trailer:

(Greenlight Page)

Title: Era

Genre: Strategy, Simulation, RPG

Art Style: 2D Pixel Side Scroller

Synopsis: You must build your town and set up life for the townspeople. Keep in mind that you have neighboring towns that want what you have and monster creatures who want to destroy you. Use diplomacy to keep them at bay, or fight it out.

Opinion: Could be good, but it depends on the variety that comes with building the town and those that might attack you.

Trailer:

(Greenlight Page)

Title: Stories of Bethem Full Moon

Genre: RPG, Puzzle

Art Style: 2D Top Down

Synopsis: This game revolves around Khoma a young man who sets out on an adventure to save his father who is spellbound by the Blue Witch of Bethem. To save him though he’ll need the help of an odd assortment of characters to save his pops.

Trailer:

(Greenlight Page)

Title: Wanderer

Genre: Platformer, RPG

Art Style: 2D Pixel Side Scroller

Synopsis: You play as Rook a man who was aboard a prison ship but put into a deep sleep. He awakens to find himself on the abandon Earth where he must explore the desolate wastelands and the other prison cell segments that crashed into earth as well. This game is crowd funding on Kickstarter.

Opinion: I like it, I think it has some interesting potential.

Trailer:

Title: The Grandfather

Genre: Horror, Point and Click Adventure

Art Style: 2D Screens

Synopsis: You play as a grandfather but only his head, and he’s a depressed man trying desperately to find his way. This game is crowd funding on Indiegogo.

Opinion: Very weird sort of surrealist world going on in this game.

Trailer:

(Greenlight Page)

Title: Shark Lake Fisherman

Genre: Arcade

Art Style: 2D Top Down

Synopsis: Fish as many fish you can out of a lake. The biggest obstacle between you and the fist is sharks who want to eat you. Do your best to avoid them.

Opinion: A simple game, a bit mindless but a potentially good time waster when you want to play a game but don’t know what to play.

Trailer:

(Greenlight Page)

Title: Prophetical

Genre: RPG, Shooter

Art Style: 3D World

Synopsis: You are a space pilot training on a new ship near a dry dock when its suddenly attacked. You must do all you can to survive and destroy these foes while also chasing them down.

Opinion: The game description on Greenlight is a bit chaotic. But, from what I understand this is only the first chapter of an episodic game.

Trailer:

(Greenlight Page)

Title: Torque

Genre: Puzzle, Platformer

Art Style: 3D First Person World

Synopsis: You play as a convict who has agreed to take part in a series of experiements in exchange for his freedom. These tests are all centered around moving platforms with a gun, rotating them so you can get to the end of the level.

Opinion: It does remind me a bit of Portal, I think that’s mostly because of the gun. Otherwise I think it looks good.

Trailer:

(Greenlight Page)

Title: Deep Space Mine

Genre: Strategy

Art Style: 2D Screens

Synopsis: Work the space stock market and try and out buy and sell your opponents for resources. Work the market as it responds to what you and other players do.

Title: Angeldust

Genre: MMO, RPG

Art Style: 3D Voxel World with 2D Characters

Synopsis: A world is up for exploring where you can be a hero or you can find resources and build to your hearts content.

Genre: Shooter, Arcade

Art Style: 2D Pixel Side Scroller

Trailer:

(Greenlight Page)

Title: Bounce ’em Up

Genre: Shooter, Arcade

Art Style: 3D Side Scrolling Arena

Synopsis: In a 1 vs. 1 arena two bots battle it out and try to take the other down. It isn’t simple as you must get many hits on the opponent to destroy them and you have to do it three times.

Opinion: It looks challenging to be able to keep fighting and shooting with little chance for even a small break.

Trailer:

(Greenlight Page)

Title: Last Hope – Heroes Zombie TD

Genre: Tower Defense

Art Style: 3D Top Down

Synopsis: Defend against the hordes of zombies by setting up turrets to fortify your base.

Opinion: It isn’t for me.

Trailer:

(Greenlight Page)

Title: SnOrc

Genre: Platformer

Art Style: 3D World

Synopsis: You play as a rolling ball intent of destruction and mayhem creation all around the levels. Aim for buildings and characters to get the best score.

Opinion: The visuals are a little too bland for my liking when you go over the edge and see far too much of the world.

Trailer:

(Greenlight Page)

Title: Project Arrhythmia

Genre: Puzzle, Music

Art Style: 2D Screens

Synopsis: Controlling a small box like figure you must avoid the bands of pink that appear during beats in the music.

Opinion: It looks simple yet challenging in staying alive especially if you get a song that goes crazy.

Trailer:

It’s the end of the Greenlight queue as we know and I feel fine. I should probably stop changing song lyrics. Anyway that’s the end for this queue of games looking for votes.
