A breezy beautiful horrific Steam Greenlight voting queue. It is October the month of horror.

Welcome back to a new Greenlight queue of games. We’ll make this a quick run through of the games, no need to waste much time. There of course is some stuff to go through as quickly as possible.

This list is for games posted between October 1 to 3, 2015. Some games worth mentioning may not get talked about because this list is entirely made from my opinion. I try not to let that happen.

A few rules:

  • Games must have a trailer.
  • Reposted games to Greenlight that I’ve previously mentioned, will not be included.
  • Games should look ready for Greenlight and should not look like joke submissions.
  • The game should have an English translation.

And to the Games:

Title: Devil Daggers

Genre: Shooter, Arcade

Art Style: 3D First Person World with a Pixel like feel.

Synopsis: A fast paced shooter reminiscent of the old school 1990’s arcade FPS. Leigons of demons are coming to kill you, and you must kill them all.

Opinion: The world needs a little bit more, it looks so dark with the black background everywhere.

Title: A Tofu Tail

Genre: Puzzle

Art Style: 2D Isometric Levels

Synopsis: A man has been turned into a block of tofu by a curse and now must travel through a surreal world to break said curse. This game is crowd funding on Kickstarter.

Opinion: It is a very odd looking game.

Title: Lost Love

Genre: Horror

Art Style: 3D World

Synopsis: You are in a mental hospital in Sweden but don’t know why. It’s after hours, and you’re free to explore to your hearts content and find out why you’re here. But, there is someone stalking you through the halls.

Opinion: It doesn’t really have much that separates itself from other games.

Trailer:

Title: Shadow Corps

Genre: Strategy

Art Style: 3D Isometric World

Synopsis: A squad turn based combat game, similar to the likes of X-Com and others.

Opinion: It is a bit hard to get a feel for the game from the Greenlight page as there doesn’t appear to be a story, at least yet. It does look very good so far though.

Trailer:

Title: The Fall of the Dungeon Guardians

Genre: RPG, Strategy

Art Style: 3D First Person Dungeon

Synopsis: Fifteen prisoners have escaped from their cells in the dungeon. Now it’s up to you and your party to explore the deep maze of the dungeon to get them back into their cells.

Title: Horror in the Asylum

Genre: Horror, Puzzle

Art Style: 3D First Person World

Synopsis: You are a mentally sick patient in an asylum who wants out. To get out though you’ll need to make as little noise as possible, otherwise the horrors you see may get you.

Opinion: There is some potential there, but it does have a bit of a generic feel to it,

Trailer:

Title: Warbirds Dogfight 2016

Genre: Simulation

Art Style: 3D Airplanes

Synopsis: The skies are filled with World War Two planes flying around Europe, North Africa, and the Pacific. This game is all action, no take-offs or landings, the action starts the first second the enemy is spotted.

Opinion: The graphics look like they need a touch more work, but otherwise it seems good.

Title: Labyrinth

Genre: Strategy, RPG, Card Game

Art Style: 3D Isometric World

Synopsis: You assemble your heroes and gather your deck of cards to fight in a dungeon in player vs player raids. Use turn based combat to flank and avoid enemy traps and conquer the dungeon. This game will be free to play once it fully launches and there will be a Kickstarter campaign in the second half of October 2015.

Opinion: As long as they keep any micro-transactions to a minimal it should be a good game.

Trailer:

Title: Clumsy Moose Season

Genre: Simulation, Platformer, Racing

Art Style: 2D Side Scroller

Synopsis: It’s moose season, and no one seems to realize it as a bunch of moose roam around a park guarded by park rangers. Play, race, and generally goof off as a moose. While you also have fun building up the levels to play around in.

Opinion: The game isn’t for me.

Genre: Tower Defense

Art Style: 3D Isometric
