The Microsoft E3 2015 Conference Breakdown

Microsoft held their annual E3 press conference on June 15 2015. This post will be a breakdown of the interesting things said during their conference and the games shown.

Conference:

Halo 5 Guardians is the first game of the conference, where everything about it is meant to be epic. The demo concentrates on squad fighting. The multiplayer is as ever an important part of the game with a new mode called Warzone.

Microsoft has a new game premiering ReCore a game about robots and surviving what appears to be a wasteland. This game is made by Keiji Inafune and former Metroid Prime developers. It is an exclusive to Xbox One.

The Xbox One is now backward compatible with the Xbox 360. Digital downloads and disk based games will work. Disk games will be downloaded to play them.

Microsoft is bringing out a new controller for the Xbox One titled the Xbox Elite, it will have customization features to let you play how you want.

Fallout 4 is the next game of the show. You can either use first person mode to shoot or the VATS system. It’s the most ambitious game world Bethesda’s ever made. Mods made on the PC will be available for free on the Xbox One.

Peter Moore for EA takes the stage to talk about EA Access their early service to games and the expanding vault of older games. He’s also here to announce Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2. The ridiculous is back in fashion in this zombie game.

Forza Motorsports 6 shows off a little bit of the history of Ford racing, and the latest game. 26 real would Race tracks and is coming out on Sepetember 16 2015.

The dark and tough franchise that people can’t seemingly get enough of is back. Dark Souls III will probably be as tough as ever.

Tom Clancy’s The Division’s gives a haunting look at the crazy post apocalyptic game. Xbox One players will be the first to try the players in December 2015. Then talk switches to Rainbow Six Siege which comes with copies of Rainbow Six Vegas and Vegas 2.

Next is a very colorful game Gigantic a free to play game.

And we get a montage trailer of upcoming indie games coming to Xbox One.

Tacoma will launch on the Xbox One, this game is about exploring unfamiliar territory in space. It’s from the developers who brought us Gone Home.

Ashen us a crazy looking action RPG game with very few faces, perhaps none at all.

Beyond Eyes is a game about a blind young woman who experiences the world through her other senses.

1930’s cartoon meeting a platformer from the 16-bit era gives us the indie game Cuphead. Visually insane and impressive.

Xbox Game Preview will be Microsoft’s Early Access program for Xbox One and you’ll get to try the games before you buy them.

Ion a new game from the maker of DayZ, is driven by experiencing things differently not as one might expect.

Rise of the Tomb Raider gives us a new look at Lara Croft. Her crazy adventure tramping through snow to find a lost city in blizzard like conditions.

Rare Replay is bringing back the 30 hits of Rare games. And what’s more they have a new big game coming out.called Sea of Thieves a multiplayer pirate experience.

Fable Legends will be a free to play magical looking game.

HoloLens will be playable with a new version of Minecraft letting you explore maps in a new way and play.

Microsoft is remastering the original Gears of Wars. And of course the Gears adventure is not completely over with a new game. It’s simply titled Gears of War 4.
