Microsoft had its big E3 video game press conference on June 9 at 9:30 am PST. Several announcements were made prior to the show, much of that news was about entertainment apps, which will now work without an Xbox Live Gold account. Microsoft kept it to just the games.
Call of Duty Advanced Warfare will have all of its DLC coming to Xbox consoles first. The game looks a touch slower than previous Call of Duty’s, but still keeps the feeling of hectic action.
Forza 5 will be getting the Nurburgring race track for free. Forza Horizon 2 will be coming out September 30 2014, and will feature 200 cars, plus challenging weather.
Evolve the 4 vs 1 co-op game gets a fast trailer.
Assassin’s Creed Unity will feature 4 player co-op through the story. The game keeps with the basic ideals of the previous games.
Bioware’s Dragon Age Inquistion is the next game with a trailer. Mostly CG action.
Sunset Overdrive comes to the stage with a trailer. And then some stage gameplay. It’s a game that looks like it has captured the over the top in your face action vibe. All while you fight off monsters and jump around. 8 player co-op. The game comes out on October 28 2014.
DLC that’s gone crazy is now available for Dead Rising 3. It looks insane.
Dance Central Spotlight sill be coming to Xbox One this fall.
Fable Legends is a co-op style game. You can also play as the villain of the game, as you set traps and challenges for the other players to get through.
Project Spark is very colorful and creative and will have Conker from from Conkers Bad Fur Day in it.
Ori and the Blind Forest is a beautiful looking side scrolling game.
Halo of course is back and badder than ever, in a good way. There will be a Master Collection that features 1 through 4 of Halo. Halo 2 mulitplayer will stay exactly the same. Because it’s been 10 years since its release. Halo 5 Guardian multiplayer beta will be included in the Master Collection, and will be coming out in December for Xbox One.
Inside is an interesting looking indie puzzle game. This is from the creators of Limbo.
ID@Xbox shows off a montage of indie games coming to the console. Things like Three’s, Cuphead, and Double Fine’s Massive Chalice (which wasn’t shown).
Rise of the Tomb Raider gets a quick trailer. A very young Lara Croft finds out what it means to be a tomb raider.
The Witcher 3 has more limb hacking action for those that love the franchise. It’s still a brutal RPG that looks gorgeous.
Phnatom Dust trailer shows off some action that doesn’t show much of anything, but looks pretty cool. It’s being remastered for Xbox One.
The Division from Ubisoft will be getting DLC content first on Xbox Live. A demo shows off the beautiful half ruined city.
Scalebound is a game from Platinum Games. A crazy looking dragon game fighting against crazy creatures. Exclusive to the Xbox One.
