Codemasters have announced a new Grid racing game, titled Grid: Autosports. This time the series will be a bit more like a descendant from the TOCA race series that Codemasters made. This so they can make the game feel more like an authentic racing experience.
Grid: Autosports is to be released on June 24 2014. It will be out on the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
The game will feature:
Handling – A more simulation handling than was present in Grid 2.
Racing Disciplines – Racing styles such as touring cars will be vastly different from an endurance style.
Location – Grid: Autosports will feature 22 tracks, currently announced are: Hockenheim, Sepang, San Francisco, Jarma, and Yas Marina. In total there will be over a 100 track combinations to race on.
Career – The career mode will have you become a professional race car driver in the world of Grid. Racing with a teammate will also be back. Your teammate can attack cars ahead of it and hold a defensive position. Also you only have to compete in the racing Disciplines that you want to.
Multiplayer – Race against or with friends. You can join racing clubs that allow you race on the same team as your friends.
