Interplay is bringing back Black Isle Studios, who famously made Fallout and Planescape: Torment before their closure in 2003. Obsidian Entertainment where many of the employees went upon the studio closing have said that they know nothing about it and don’t think that anyone from Obsidian is involved.
Interplays CEO Herve Caen is believed to be behind the revival of the dead studio, but Interplay hasn’t said anything.
There isn’t much to get excited about yet other then a new studio concentrating on RPG’s has been formed. Really all Interplay has done is bring back a studio name. But there is always hope that this will turn out well.
